It Business Analysis Specialist

Role Summary 

The IT Business Analysis Specialist bridges business and technology to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions across core applications. This role partners with stakeholders and delivery teams to define requirements, convert business needs into actionable technical stories, support testing, and drive backlog execution in an Agile environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements for new and existing applications. 
2. Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. 
3. Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure solutions align with technical constraints and enterprise architecture. 
4. Lead requirement refinement sessions and ensure shared understanding across business and IT teams. 
5. Act as the primary liaison between product management and engineering during sprint delivery. 
6. Support test strategy, test case validation, UAT coordination, and release readiness. 
7. Own and maintain high-quality BA artifacts, process documentation, and traceability. 
8. Contribute to sprint planning, release planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Required Qualifications 

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field (BE/BTech/MCA/MTech or equivalent). 
2. 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in technology-enabled business environments. 
3. Strong experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation. 
4. Proven ability to communicate business requirements clearly to development teams. 
5. Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. 
6. Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. 
7. Experience with SQL and Oracle-based data environments.
