Role Purpose

The IT Business Analyst will support cross-functional digital initiatives across data, analytics, automation, and AI within a global FMCG environment. This role is urgent and designed for an early-career professional eager to develop strong business analysis fundamentals while contributing to high-visibility, multinational projects.

The role acts as a key link between business users and IT teams, supporting requirement gathering, analysis, documentation, testing, and change activities under the guidance of senior team members. It also serves as a quality gate to ensure that vendor-delivered solutions are practical, usable, and aligned with business expectations across data, automation, and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1) Business & Stakeholder Support

• Support engagement with business stakeholders across Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Operations

• Assist in collecting, clarifying, and documenting business requirements through interviews, workshops, and working sessions

• Help translate business needs into clear functional and data requirements

• Prepare presentations, summaries, and analysis to support decision-making

2) Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration

• Support initiatives spanning multiple functions and markets in a multinational FMCG environment

• Coordinate with regional and global IT teams, vendors, and delivery partners

• Help ensure alignment between global standards and local business needs

3) Data, Analytics, Automation & AI Initiatives

• Power BI Development

• Support project work related to data platforms, BI & reporting, process automation (RPA), and AI use cases

• Assist with basic data analysis, KPI tracking, and validation of reports and dashboards

• Participate in requirement definition to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and business-focused

• Validating vendor outputs (reports, dashboards, automation flows) to ensure they are usable and aligned with business needs

• Reviewing data logic and providing feedback or challenge where needed

4) Delivery & Quality Support

• Create and maintain documentation such as business requirements, user stories, process flows, and test scenarios

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, defect tracking, and follow-up

• Assist with solution walkthroughs and ensure deliverables meet documented requirements

• Review and validate vendor deliverables (e.g. reports, dashboards, automation flows, AI use cases)

• Ensure outputs are accurate, usable, and aligned with business requirements

• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities, and work closely with vendors to refine solutions

5) Change & Adoption

• Support change management activities including user communications, training materials, and adoption tracking

• Help collect feedback post-implementation and identify improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications & Experience

Skills & Competencies

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

• Basic understanding of business processes and IT systems

• Ability to document requirements clearly and structurally

• Good communication skills and confidence working with diverse stakeholders

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Willingness to learn and apply business analysis best practices

• Power BI development

Must-Have Requirements

• Ability to read and speak Chinese fluently due to business market need.

• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 3–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, IT, Data, or Digital projects (or strong relevant internship/project exposure)

• Strong interest in data, analytics, automation, and AI in a business context

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Exposure to FMCG, consumer goods, or multinational environments

• Familiarity with Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, hybrid delivery)

• Experience with data or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Excel, SQL, or similar)

• Experience or exposure to automation or analytics-related projects
