About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ESG Business Analyst to support our client, in driving Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or final semester students to gain hands-on experience in sustainability reporting, data analysis, and digital transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ESG-related projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Assist in gathering business and technical requirements from stakeholders
- Work closely with internal teams to translate ESG requirements into system or process improvements
- Prepare documentation such as business requirement documents (BRD), user stories, and process flows
- Support ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., sustainability reports, carbon tracking, compliance tracking)
- Assist in system testing, UAT coordination, and issue tracking
- Conduct research on ESG trends, regulations, and best practices
- Provide administrative and coordination support for ongoing ESG initiatives
Requirements
- Final semester student or recent graduate in:
- Business Administration
- Information Systems / IT
- Environmental Science / Sustainability
- Finance / Economics or related fields
- Strong interest in ESG / Sustainability / Climate-related topics
- Basic understanding of business analysis or data analysis concepts
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint (knowledge of Power BI is a plus)
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)
- Exposure to ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD)
- Basic technical knowledge (SQL, APIs, or system workflows)
- Internship experience in consulting, tech, or sustainability-related roles
- FRD
