IT Consultant (DevOps)

Responsibilities:

• Work with and support project delivery team
• Analyse business requirements and problems to develop technology requirements and solutions to address needs of the business
• Participate in client and project meetings to elicit requirements, propose solutions, diagnose issues, demonstrate technology solutions and improve stakeholder engagement
• Closely work with the project team to design and deliver comprehensive services and solutions for a client's business
• Perform system implementation work, including:
• Application development through means of system configuration or code development
• Maintain integrity of version control of configuration and code
• Unit/System/Systems Integration/User Acceptance Test systems
• Provide coaching and training to end users
• Analyse impact of implementations at macro and micro levels
• Prepare project documentation as required

• Preferred Technology: Nodejs, Type Script, JavaScript
• Database: SQL Server, Mongo

• DevOps Technology: Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Concourse/Jenkins, Agile Tools
• Full stack development for Wealth Management Business Operations systems
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features
• Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods
• Constantly learns from both success and failure
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion
• Good verbal and written communication; able to effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes
• Detail-orientated and willingness to learn all aspects of wealth and asset management business
• Minimum three years of experience in IT consulting and/or software development and implementation role
