About The Role

We are looking for an IT & Digital professional who has a passionate desire to work with customer facing departments in the organisation and to identify, manage & lead the opportunities that can help drive our business.

The role will have full responsibility for the country's Technology Budget, Building Business Partnerships, Driving Digitization and Value through Technology and Developing the team to achieve the business priorities. The role reports to the IT&D Snr Manager – Head of MYSG & Regional Digital Marketing and AI Lead. It also requires close collaboration with the regional and global IT&D organisation, the country General Managers and Functional Directors in the leadership team. The aim of the role is to build an effective and strong partnership with the local management and with Global teams, to ensure initiatives are prioritized to deliver the best outcomes for the market.

The role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will be focused on driving business outperformance through innovative solutions using the latest technology and trends, especially in the realm of Digital Marketing, practical application of Data Insights and use of GenAI/eCommerce.

Your responsibilities

  • Leveraging on the global portfolio of digital solutions, partner with the business to drive the desired business outcomes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the broader business to play an active role in shaping the Digital strategy which meets strategic and operational objectives
  • Act as a digital leader to the business and be proactive in identifying opportunities where technology can bring advantages to the organisation.
  • Be the key interface with the Global product teams to the business in Digital Marketing, Generative AI and eCommerce
  • Understands performance marketing and the use of demand generation in key channels – web, social and owned stores on marketplaces
  • Help markets optimize and win at Search and Share of Voice
  • Develop Web and eCommerce analytics capabilities in markets
  • Rolling out and fully embedding Global and Local Digital solutions to the markets

The experience we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a digital marketing technology or commercial application of the digital tools.
  • Strong track record of business engagement, partnership, and value delivery through effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience in managing and leveraging 1st Party Data to drive consumer engagement, loyalty and purchase is desired
  • Able to communicate and influence senior stakeholders towards the strategic priorities
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to work with business leaders and peers to establish priorities and drive through successful execution.
  • Experience in CRM and Loyalty and application to drive engagement and ultimately purchases
  • Been in IT Management, Digital Marketing and/or Advertising Technology space
  • Experience with established platforms such as Sales Force Automation, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Consumer Data Platform, Shopify, Google Analytics, Veeva Vault and Digital Analytics
  • Experience in evaluating and implementing eCommerce transactional, optimization and performance/KPI solutions in a FMCG environment
  • Exposure to matrix organisations beneficial
  • Proven experience of leading a team, within a multinational, or FMCG company.
  • The business language in Reckitt is English, therefore fluency in English is essential
  • Flexible to travel, if required
