Description
We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer (System) to join our team in Southeast Asia. This role focuses on system operations and support within a manufacturing environment, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of critical business systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and supporting manufacturing systems, particularly Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), or other enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and support system operations across manufacturing and enterprise systems
- Monitor system performance, ensuring high availability, reliability, and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues in a timely manner
- Support system deployment, configuration, upgrades, and patches
- Implement and maintain system security controls and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, IT) to improve system performance
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and internal teams
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for system optimization
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in system operations, IT engineering, or similar role
- Experience in manufacturing system environments is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is an advantage
- Candidates with experience in other enterprise/manufacturing systems are also encouraged to apply, such as:

- CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
- SRM (Supplier Relationship Management)
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux systems and basic system administration
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and IT security practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) is an added advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team
