Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to manage and support our physical security systems, backup and restoration processes, and audio-visual infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring operational continuity, compliance, and seamless support for business functions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise across multiple domains and the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize systems proactively.
Key Responsibilities
Physical Security (Door Access Control & CCTV)
- Administer door access control systems, including card issuance, revocation, and authorization checks.
- Monitor and investigate alarms and violations; prepare incident reports.
- Troubleshoot and maintain controllers, readers, locks, and related hardware/software.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain CCTV cameras, recorders, and server/network connections.
- Manage user permissions in compliance with SOPs and organizational policies.
- Recommend improvements for efficiency, security, and scalability.
Backup & Restoration Administration
- Define and execute backup jobs for servers, databases, VMs, and physical clients.
- Configure backup and retention policies to meet compliance and business needs.
- Monitor backup logs, troubleshoot failures, and prepare weekly reports.
- Manage backup storage utilization, deduplication, and plan for capacity growth.
Audio Visual (AV) Administration
- Set up, configure, and operate AV equipment for meetings, conferences, and live events.
- Provide on-site technical support before, during, and after events.
- Monitor AV service quality, collect feedback, and propose improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with at least one backup solution: Veeam, Veritas NetBackup, or Rubrik.
- Experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or Nutanix backups.
- Strong knowledge of physical access control systems (card readers, biometrics, controllers, locks, turnstiles).
- Proficiency with CCTV/surveillance systems.
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, switches, and firewalls.
- Proficiency in AV systems (presentation, sound reinforcement, microphones, projectors, LED walls, video conferencing, signal routing).
