Job Summary
The IT Executive will oversee and support IT operations across the group of companies, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT functions and contributing to strategic technology initiatives. This role involves managing infrastructure, supporting ERP and Microsoft ecosystem transitions, and assisting in developing business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
Job Responsibilities:
Operational Support
- Provide Level 1 & 2 IT support for HQ, branches, and outlets (hardware, software, network, and system issues).
- Maintain and update IT documentation (network diagrams, system configurations, asset inventory).
- Monitor and optimize system and network performance. Manage IT hardware/software procurement and annual renewals.
- Provide on-call/standby support & travelling outstation as required.
Infrastructure & Security
- Administer and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls, SSL VPN, Aruba switches, and wireless APs.
- Ensure endpoint protection and compliance with security policies.
- Support connectivity between branches, HQ, and Maxis Data Center-hosted ERP servers.
Projects & Transformation
- To assist in the development, implementation and management of IT technical projects / sub-projects, particularly in (but not limited to) the areas of local area network, wide area network, operating systems, cloud computing, databases, Email systems, Firewalls and Endpoint protection.
- Participate in IT-related projects, including network upgrades, system enhancements, and cloud initiatives.
- To assist in the formulation, planning, and recommendation of technical and hardware strategies, related to Information Technology, in line with the company's business plans.
- Support implementation and adoption of Microsoft Entra ID, Office 365, and related services.
Business Solutions
- Assist in developing workflows and apps using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps to improve business processes.
- Explore and recommend new technologies aligned with business objectives.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with vendors for IT resources, maintenance, and support services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure IT solutions meet operational needs.
Minimum Qualification Requirement(s):
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with minimum 46 years in IT support and infrastructure management (Windows/Linux servers, networking, CCTV, VMware).
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPN, and endpoint security.
- Exposure to Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and ERP systems (preferably D365BC) is an advantage.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Knowledge of Azure or AWS SysOps.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills at both verbal and written levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
