Summary
We are seeking a proactive fresh graduate to join our team as Deskside Support. You will be part of our IT services team supporting our client's daily operations. Your responsibilities include providing onsite technical assistance, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operations within the client environment.
Full training will be provided, making this an ideal starting point for graduates entering the IT field.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IT support for laptops, desktops, printers, and peripheral devices at the client's location.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network problems for end users.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and updates of operating systems and applications.
- Support new joiner onboarding, including device setup and account access.
- Perform PC imaging/reimaging and deploy new or replacement devices.
- Manage, update, and close service tickets in the client's ITSM system.
- Set up workstations, docking stations, monitors, and other peripherals.
- Assist with desk moves, hardware replacements, and device allocation.
- Maintain accurate asset and inventory records.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams.
- Follow IT policies, procedures, SLAs, and security guidelines.
Requirements
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related fields.
- Strong interest in IT support and technology troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of, Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Networking basics (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN) and PC hardware components
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a client-facing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
