Our client is expanding and they are looking for IT Helpdesk to support their team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and assistance to our users, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while resolving IT-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues via phone, email, and chat.
  • Assist users in resolving IT-related problems and ensure timely resolution of tickets.
  • Maintain an accurate record of user interactions and technical issues in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Educate users on IT best practices and provide training on software and tools as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in Japanese (both written and spoken) and English to effectively communicate with users.
  • 2-6 years of experience in IT helpdesk or technical support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
