Job Brief
The Infrastructure Engineer will support hybrid infrastructure environments, including on-premises and Microsoft Azure cloud services. This role focuses on coordinating infrastructure-related projects, liaising with end users and vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of services aligned with Group standards. The engineer will also assist in compliance reporting, man-hour loss governance, and service performance tracking.
Job Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Daily Operations
- Coordinate lifecycle operations for on-premises infrastructure, including provisioning, patching, upgrades, and capacity planning.
- Liaise with Group or vendor to monitor backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
- Track and report on operational health and performance metrics.
- Maintain all DR test report to ensure all RTC it is updated
- Maintain APM record to ensure all applications details are up to date.
- Update Man Hour Loss tracker post governance meeting
- Follow up with department representative on any IT burning issues
- Maintain IT news to ensure it is shared into local repository
- Coordinate with Group or vendor to obtain RCA for key reason reporting
Cloud Services (Azure)
- Review cloud configurations & compliance report to ensure its being shared in timely manner.
- Monitor weekly compliance reports and follow up on remediation actions.
Software as a Service (SaaS)
- Coordinate SaaS subscriptions and integrations
- Work with vendors and internal teams to ensure SLA and security compliance.
- Track service performance and escalate issues as needed.
Security & Compliance
- Participate in incident response coordination and vulnerability remediation.
- Assist in preparing compliance reports and documentation.
Project coordination
- Prepare Monthly MHL slide for stakeholder review
- Coordinate BU stakeholder for bi-weekly governance meeting
- Prepare Meeting MoM for every meeting held
- Obtain necessary material for briefing session with department or stakeholder
- Follow up with stakeholder or task owner to ensure zero project delay
Qualification & Skills
Professional Skills
- Experience coordinating infrastructure-related projects involving on-prem and cloud environments.
- Ability to liaise effectively with end users, vendors, and internal teams to gather requirements, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.
- Skilled in preparing and maintaining project documentation, status reports, and escalation logs.
- Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure components and cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Understanding of service-level agreements (SLAs), compliance standards, and operational governance.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a focus on consistent follow-up and issue resolution.

Job Requirements
- Candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology
- Certifications in IT service management e.g., ITIL are an added advantage.
- Preferably at least 1 year or more of related working experience.
- Good communication skills in English, Malay, Chinese (optional) language for both spoken and written.
