IT Infrastructure Manager

Role Summary

The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure environment, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency across servers, storage, virtualization platforms, data centers, and end-user computing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise IT infrastructure operations including servers, storage, virtualization, backup, and data center environments.
• Ensure infrastructure availability, performance optimization, capacity planning, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Administer Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity & access management.
• Oversee End User Computing (EUC) services including desktops, laptops, MDM, patch management, and endpoint security.
• Implement infrastructure security controls and maintain compliance with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC, and related standards.
• Lead infrastructure upgrade, migration, deployment, and transformation projects.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, incidents, and problem management through ITSM tools.
• Manage backup, recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Coordinate with vendors, licensing partners, and support providers while managing SLAs and contracts.
• Prepare infrastructure documentation, budgets, capacity plans, and operational reports.
• Lead and mentor infrastructure support teams and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8 - 12 years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure environments with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and storage technologies.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Exposure to data center operations and critical infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and ITSM tools.
• Certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, VMware, or Security certifications are preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
