The Data & Analytics Intern will gain hands-on experience working with enterprise analytics and AI platforms to support real business use cases across Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei. This internship provides exposure to how advanced analytics and artificial intelligence support commercial decision-making, customer strategies, and business performance.

The intern will work closely with the Head of Data Strategy and Insights and cross-functional stakeholders to support data-driven initiatives and develop practical problem-solving skills in a real business environment.

Location: Menara Lien Ho, Tropicana, Petaling Jaya

Internship intake: March/April 2026

Internship duration: 6 months

What You'll Do

• Support ongoing analytics initiatives by working with enterprise AI and analytics platforms to deliver insights that support business decisions.
• Assist in the development and analysis of key commercial models and datasets.
• Assist in maintaining data quality and ensuring consistency across datasets and platforms.
• Gain hands-on exposure to enterprise AI tools and models used to support commercial and operational decision-making.
• Support the testing, validation, and refinement of AI models and analytics outputs.
• Work with commercial and functional teams to understand business challenges and data requirements.
• Support the team in identifying opportunities where data and analytics can improve business performance.
• Develop a strong understanding of how data and AI drive business decisions across markets.
• Receive mentorship and coaching on analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project ownership.

What We're Looking For

• Open for students looking for mandatory or voluntary internship placement or interested students up to their final year in their program.
• Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics or related fields.
• Minimum attachment period of 6 months.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in data analytics and artificial intelligence.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, SQL, Python, or data visualization tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
