Overview:
As a Senior IT Java Application Support Executive, you will be the backbone of our application stability, serving as a critical bridge between complex technical infrastructure and end-user needs. This role is designed for a technically proficient Java expert who thrives in high-pressure environments and is passionate about continual service improvement.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of application support-from performing deep-dive technical triage on web and mobile platforms to managing vendor relations and automating manual processes. Beyond day-to-day troubleshooting, you will act as a Knowledge Leader, building a comprehensive Client Academy of training materials and ensuring our internal knowledge base is robust enough to facilitate first-time resolutions.
This is a high-impact position requiring a blend of technical mastery in Java/JBoss, operational discipline in MySQL/Oracle environments, and the flexibility to support mission-critical systems in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Responsibilities:
Advanced Troubleshooting & Triage: Manage the full lifecycle of application tickets, providing deep technical analysis for Web, Android, and iOS platforms while ensuring seamless routing to Level 2/3 teams or external vendors.
Knowledge Management & Training: Own the creation and maintenance of domain-specific documentation and a Client Academy to empower both the first-line support teams and end-users.
Service Excellence: Drive Continual Service Improvement (CSI) by identifying automation candidates and providing data-driven insights through monthly operations summary reports.
Infrastructure & Audit Support: Coordinate project enhancements, participate in tech/infra refreshes, and support annual business audits through corrective action and compliance reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with third-party vendors and internal business units to educate users and ensure a closed-loop communication style for all assigned tasks.
Skills & Experience We Are Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Others or equivalent, in any relevant fields.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in Web and Mobile Application is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Web and Mobile application Support or equivalent.
Proficient in Java programming language IS A MUST.
Knowledge on MySQL database and Oracle database will be an added advantage
Experience on JBoss application server, Redhat and AIX operating system.
Experience in Android and IOS Mobile application support.
This role requires a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, and be on-call 24/7 as part of a rotation or escalation path to ensure continuous support for critical business applications.
