From POS systems and ordering kiosks to network security and CCTV—can you piece the retail tech puzzle together
We are looking for a proactive IT Lead based in Malaysia to manage our expanding F&B and retail store operations. This is a unique role that blends strategic team leadership with hands-on infrastructure deployment for exciting New Store Opening (NSO) projects. Solid hands-on knowledge of retail tech stacks (POS, kiosks, network security, and infrastructure deployment).

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Degree in IT preferably with at least 5 years of experience in IT operations/infrastructure support experience in multi-retail store experience across Malaysia.
- Proven experience leading teams, especially for New Store Opening (NSO) projects.
- Strong retail industry experience with multiple store expansion projects.
- Hands-on experience in handling set up of IT infrastructure and security which include POS systems, ordering kiosks, payment gateway, networking, hardware deployment, and CCTV.
- Experience managing external vendors and coordinating cross-functional projects.
- Strong commitment to integrity, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Hands-on attitude and willing to work on-site when needed.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Job Role:
- Ensure all NSO activities run smoothly from a technical and operational perspective.
- Handle setup and readiness for POSM, kiosks, POS systems, network devices, printers, CCTV, internet setup, and related hardware.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure all stores are operational before opening day.
- Manage and monitor vendors for out-of-island store projects and ensure delivery meets company standards.
- Be willing to travel to sites and handle hardware pickup/deployment when required.
- Provide daily technical support for existing stores and office operations.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues with timely resolution.
- Lead and manage the IT support team effectively.
- Ensure team members follow company SOPs, procedures, and operational standards consistently.
- Provide guidance, coordination, and monitoring to maintain service quality and operational discipline.
- Maintain accurate and organized IT documentation.
- Ensure all IT assets, configurations, network records, and installations are properly documented.
