Overview
A leading retail organization is seeking a Senior IT Manager to serve as a strategic IT Business Partner, driving technology initiatives across retail operations, supply chain, corporate functions, and digital platforms.
This role combines IT leadership, solutions architecture, and stakeholder engagement to deliver scalable technology solutions, support digital transformation, and enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with business stakeholders across Retail, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and corporate functions
- Translate business requirements into scalable and cost-effective IT solutions
- Lead IT strategy, digital transformation, and technology roadmaps aligned with business goals
- Design and oversee enterprise architecture across:
- POS systems
- ERP/Finance platforms
- Supply chain and warehouse systems
- E-commerce / omnichannel platforms
- Manage IT operations including infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, end-user support, and vendor management
- Ensure high availability, cybersecurity compliance, governance, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness
- Support store technology enablement, new outlet rollouts, and customer-facing digital initiatives
- Lead enterprise IT projects, budgets, timelines, and cross-functional implementations
- Develop and lead high-performing IT teams across infrastructure, applications, and support functions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Prior exposure to retail, FMCG, or multi-site environments is highly preferred
- Strong experience in:
- Enterprise solutions architecture
- Retail systems (POS, inventory, supply chain)
- ERP, CRM, and system integrations
- Infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity
- Proven stakeholder management and IT-business partnering capabilities
- Strong commercial acumen and experience leading digital transformation initiatives
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project execution skills
- Local Malaysian Citizens / RTP Holder
