IT Network Infrastructure & Database Support Engineer

Job Descriptions:

- Maintain and troubleshoot network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controller, and access points).

- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance/connectivity, ensure its aligned and compliance with company security standard.

- Perform database backups and disaster recovery, user access management, and performance monitoring, troubleshooting, database optimization and tuning.

- Support IT projects involving both network and database systems not limited to vendor engagement, design, configuration, installation, and enhancements.

- Document processes, reports generation, SOPs and knowledge sharing with the team.

Preferred education & experience:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 10+ years in a networking role with some database administration exposure.

- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall configuration.

- Familiarity with one or more databases with cluster High Availability (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Certifications like CCNA or Network+ preferred; basic DBA certs a plus.

- Exposure to cloud database and cloud network environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a good to have.

- Exposure to the network security controls and end-point security (ZTNA, DLP, NAC, Web Proxy, Anti-virus, DMZ and Private Remote Access).

- Exposure with ISO27001 standard and ICS architecture standard for IT/OT network integration.

- Problem-solving mindset, good communication skills, and willingness to learn.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
