What You'll Be Doing
You will manage (and participate in!) the IT Operations for one of the largest offices in our group. Think about: security, ZTNA, MFA, MDM, high-end firewalls, on-prem cloud, networking, disaster recovery, server rooms, and internal help desk support.
In addition, you play a key role in the secure operation of more than 250 SaaS applications, and you proactively make (and implement!) well-informed recommendations that keep us on the cutting edge of security and technology.
What You Bring To The Table
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
- 2+ years of experience managing people across cultures and borders
- Expert-level knowledge of our big 5: Google Workspace, Okta, Kandji, Jumpcloud, and Cloudflare
- Extreme hands-on technical skills. You are able to configure and troubleshoot equipment such as Fortigate Firewalls and HP/Aruba access points and switches with one arm tied behind your back.
- Ability to keep your cool in stressful situations and still get the job done, no matter what
- Deep familiarity with technologies and concepts such as VPN, ZTNA, MDM, MFA and disaster recovery
- An intrinsic drive to find the root cause and a flair for simple solutions
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
What's Good To Have
- An agile mindset and experience with agile project management frameworks
- Technical skills outside the IT Operations domain, for example coding or database experience
- Experience with cloud technologies, notably AWS, GCP, or Alicloud
