About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in insurance claims to lead and deliver projects that enhance claims systems, processes, and customer experience. The ideal candidate will have both technical expertise and domain knowledge to successfully bridge business needs with IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for insurance claims initiatives, including system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations teams, and vendors to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Oversee testing, UAT, and deployment to ensure smooth project delivery and compliance with business/technical requirements.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular status updates and reporting to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the claims process through technology and digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Project Manager within the insurance domain, specifically focused on claims systems and processes.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
• Experience working with insurance core systems (e.g., Guidewire, LifeAsia, or other claims platforms) is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• PMP/Prince2/Agile certification is an added advantage.
