Job Description: IT Software Development Project Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Software Development Project

Manager to manage software delivery projects and collaborate effectively with third-party

vendors. This role requires a candidate who understands software development processes, is

well-versed in managing cross-functional teams, and can oversee the successful delivery of

complex IT projects. A background in finance with an understanding of regulatory

requirements such as BNM, audit, and compliance will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage software development projects from initiation to successful

delivery.

Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of software

solutions.

Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring that project goals

are met.

Ensure adherence to project management best practices, ensuring that projects stay

on track and within scope.

Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication, reporting, and

updates.

Understand and manage compliance requirements, particularly in relation to BNM

regulations, audits, and financial compliance.

Collaborate with team members and vendors to ensure alignment on project

objectives and deliverables.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, specifically in software development

projects.

Strong understanding of software delivery processes; technical knowledge is not

required, but the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams is essential.

Experience working with third-party vendors and managing external partnerships.

A background in finance or familiarity with financial industry regulations (BNM, audit,

compliance) is a strong advantage.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage crossfunctional teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project

requirements.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

Ability to speak the language of developers and vendors without needing to write or

develop code.

Experience in managing IT projects related to software, not hardware or

infrastructure.
