IT regulatory & compliance officer

Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Regulatory & Compliance Officer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our IT operations comply with all relevant regulations and standards, conducting audits, and providing guidance on compliance matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT systems and processes to identify compliance gaps.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the SEA region.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to compliance activities and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in technology regulations and industry best practices.
• Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
• Serve as a point of contact for regulatory bodies and facilitate inspections or audits.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in IT regulatory compliance or a related role.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
• Experience with risk management and compliance audits in the IT sector.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in compliance management software and tools.
