The IT Senior Executive / Assistant Manager is the primary point of execution within the IT division. The role is hands-on and ground-level, bridging strategic direction with day-to-day operational delivery across LKHSC.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Implementation & Project Execution
- Lead the implementation of IT projects from conception through to go-live, ensuring adherence to approved plans and schedules.
- Configure, deploy and test new systems, applications and infrastructure components in accordance with approved designs.
- Coordinate with vendors, internal teams and end-users to ensure smooth rollouts and timely resolution of issues.
- Track day-to-day task progress, flag risks or delays to the IT Manager, and update project status reports.
- Assist the IT Manager in identifying and developing innovative IT solutions using emerging technologies.
2. Systems Operation & Maintenance
- Monitor and manage all installed applications, systems, network infrastructure, service subscriptions and contracts.
- Perform/Coordinate installation, configuration and maintenance of IT hardware and software in accordance with LKHSC's requirements and standards.
- Maintain and support audio-visual equipment including projectors and video-conferencing devices.
- Proactively identify system performance issues and coordinate resolution before they affect operations.
- Assist in capacity planning and redundancy assessments to support continuous availability of IT services.
3. Helpdesk & User Support
- Provide first and second-level IT helpdesk support to all staff, ensuring requests and incidents are logged, prioritised and resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensure all support tickets are closed out within agreed service levels and communicate updates to affected users.
- Conduct user training and onboarding for new systems and IT tools.
- Serve as the primary ground-level contact for IT matters across departments.
4. Compliance Support & Audit Assistance
- Assist the IT Manager in preparing for internal and external IT audits, including gathering evidence, documenting controls and coordinating walkthroughs.
- Implement remediation actions arising from audit findings within stipulated timelines.
- Ensure day-to-day IT operations comply with LKHSC's IT policies, information security standards and PDPA requirements.
- Support the maintenance and testing of IT business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Research and propose innovative IT solutions and tools that improve organisational efficiency and care delivery.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to develop IT strategies and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Keep current with advancements and best practices in IT administration, cybersecurity and digital transformation.
- Document IT processes, configurations and procedures to build institutional knowledge and support continuity.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with specialized IT knowledge.
- Minimum4 to 6 years of relevant experience in a similar IT role.
- Working knowledge of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), networking, Windows Server, and virtual machine technologies.
- Ability to understand users needs and translate them into clear business and system requirements.
- Strong understanding of current trends and developments in the IT and healthcare sectors.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
