Job Summary
- To manage and to support the IT operations of a manufacturing plant. Overseeing plant-wide IT infrastructure, ensuring operational reliability, compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality end-user support services.
- You will play a key role in maintaining production IT systems, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee end-to-end IT operations across the manufacturing plant.
- Ensure IT infrastructure availability, reliability, and compliance with relevant industry standards and certifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user incidents, service requests, and IT support.
- Configure, support, and maintain production IT infrastructure, including Manufacturing equipment and controllers, PCs and workstations, On-site servers and virtual environments, Licensed systems and business applications
- Support and manage security infrastructure including firewalls, antivirus systems, and backup solutions.
- Participate in global IT migration projects and digital workspace initiatives.
- Manage IT assets, budgets, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Support IT audits and compliance requirements (ISO and risk management standards).
- Utilize ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) for ticket management, change management, and new hire processes.
- Contribute to IT continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational reliability.
Key Requirements
- IT / Computer Science or related qualification
- 3-5+ years IT support operation experience, preferably in manufacturing work environment
- Strong knowledge of IT service desk operations and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with hardware, software, networking, and enterprise systems.
- Familiar with:
o Windows OS, Apple macOS
o Active Directory & Exchange
o Microsoft Office Suite
o Mobile Device Management (MDM)
o VoIP systems
o Application-level ID administration
- Strong documentation skills and ability to follow operational procedures.
