We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on IT Support Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide daytoday technical support, ensure smooth operations of our IT systems, and support the branch offices IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day operational duties such as providing PC support to end-users in software and hardware, data backup; manage disk storage usage, computer inventory tracking etc
  • To provide support for IT applications such as Cloud, Microsoft Office products, internet explorer, desktop, laptop, printer, and network LAN/WAN connectivity.
  • To provide support and monitor branch offices IT infrastructures such as Server, firewall, network switches and backup.
  • Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating system and application software.
  • Provides user training, system support, network enhancements, hardware, and software support, maintains an inventory of all hardware and software licenses, and reviews maintenance agreements.
  • Uses troubleshooting techniques and tools to identify defective products and follow guidelines in issuing service calls/contacts.
  • Applies diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct failures.
  • Advises/educates customers within procedural guidelines to ensure a complete solution to their technical or service questions.
  • Identifies, researches and provides input on unique or recurring customer problems.
  • Remains knowledgeable of product line, policies, and procedures.
  • Focuses on delivering a positive customer experience according to standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of retail-related applications (POS, WMS, Inventory systems).
  • Strong experience with Windows, Office365, MacOS installation, configuration, and patch updates.
  • Skilled in supporting servers, desktops, laptops, printers, handheld scanners, tablets & mobile devices.
  • Familiar with DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, firewalls, antivirus, VPN, CCTV, door access systems, and PABX.
  • Knowledge of domain/server setup, data storage, backup solutions, IT infrastructure, and system support.
  • Familiarity with Crystal Reports, Excel VLOOKUP, and Adobe applications is an added advantage.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problemsolving abilities.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and think clearly under pressure.
  • Strong interest and proficiency in IP networking, equipment, protocols, and technologies.

Requirements

  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Qualification in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of current technologies, Active Directory, system migration, server API integrations, Windows/MacOS, data disaster recovery, data analysis, hardware, and application support.
  • Hands-on experience in network administration, network installation, and infrastructure support.
  • At least 45 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Able to assist the Head of Department when required.
  • Strong planning and execution skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
