Purpose of the position
- The role is to implement and sustain the available network and IT system, particularly on LOTN security system, and its automation infrastructure that would enhance and improve the IS infrastructure available.
- The role includes maintenance and support of existing hardware, software, and equipment for LOTN security system environment, and its associated information system infrastructure.
Principal responsibilities
- Provide day to day support for the RSE ROC Operations & Performance team to troubleshoot and resolve plant automation related systems including the stability of the network connectivity and hardware stability.
- Implement network security measures for Linde Technical Network for identified critical plants/sites as per the global directive
- Perform regular patching activities for ROC infrastructure ie plant control systems computers when needed
- Prepare capex proposal for both software and hardware system upgrade related to ROC infrastructure, and its execution part within the planned timeline
- Lead and support the maintenance of newly installed or existing automation and IS system at ROC
- Support IS infrastructure including LOTN requirements and other process control instruments in ROC and on-site operations
- Manage control system hardware and software records and ensure that updated information is retained.
- Provide technical support for the new projects in the region on IS requirements
- Support site teams to develop appropriate plant contingency plans on OT part.

Required key skills (functional/technical)
- Knowledge of Operations Technology (OT) and its related system is a Must
- Knowledge of VMware Infrastructure is a Must
- Knowledge of network cybersecurity measures and hands on experience
- Knowledge of IS infrastructure and maintenance system
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate (Windows/Office)
- Backup Software (Veeam)
- Knowledge of Siemens TI545, S7 and PCS7 control systems (added advantage)
- Knowledge of Wonderware InTouch (added advantage)
- Strong analytical skills
- Willing to work under pressure and during Odd hours (in 24/7 hours standby)
- Ability to deliver effective, innovative solution
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Fluent English and local language
Required qualifications/experience
- Minimum of 4 years experience in network security, OT, IS and control system environment
- University degree in Electrical, Electronics or Instrument and Process Control Engineering
- Experience in process plant operation role advantageous
