IT Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Lead to head a cross-functional development team delivering end-to-end IT solutions in support of Oil & Gas Turnaround operations. This role spans solution design, code reviews, development, testing, and delivery across UI, API, database, and reporting layers. The Technical Lead will set objectives, delegate tasks, manage team schedules, and ensure solutions are built effectively, on time, and in line with project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a group of developers — set objectives, delegate tasks, monitor team performance and day-to-day operations
• Oversee end-to-end solution design and development across frontend, backend, API, database, and reporting layers
• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards and best practices throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Perform and oversee development and testing: unit testing, regression testing, and integration validation
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration across system components
• Build and deploy solutions on Azure Cloud, managing DevOps pipelines and cloud infrastructure
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational reporting requirements
• Produce technical documentation including functional documents, design documents, and user guides
• Manage source control workflows via Git — branching, code reviews, and team collaboration
• Provide application development and support knowledge relevant to Oil & Gas Turnaround operations

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT project development and delivery
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a Technical Lead or Team Lead capacity
• Frontend: Angular 12, TypeScript, Kendo UI, CSS
• Backend: .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework
• Testing: Jasmine (unit and regression testing)
• API: RESTful API design and development
• Database: SQL Server, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures
• Reporting: Power BI dashboard and report development
• DevOps & Cloud: Azure Cloud — build, deploy, and manage solutions
• Source Control: Git — branching strategy, code reviews, team collaboration
• Tools: Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio
• Proven ability to lead solution design and drive end-to-end delivery across all technical layers
• Experience managing team schedules, task delegation, and performance monitoring
• Strong documentation skills for functional documents, design documents, and training materials

Nice to Haves

• Prior exposure to Oil & Gas Turnaround application development or support
• Experience developing or supporting digital tools used in TA/SD execution environments
• Familiarity with offsite delivery models supporting onsite O&G operations
