IT Technician (shift)

JOB SCOPE

• Provide 24 x7 support scope for client computing by phone or physical touch with the following details.

• Troubleshot client computing issues related to PCs and their peripherals such as mouse, keyboards, KVM switches, scanners and networks.

• Configure deploy, set up and repair Operating Systems, Client Networking, PCs and mouse, keyboards, KVM switches, scanners, laser/label printer and other PC peripherals for factory automation needs. The configuration tasks include, but not limited to IP address configuration, domain joining, drive mapping and software installation.

• Perform virus scan at the location and send back report.

• Hard disk cloning and backup.

• Asset audit (PC hardware, KVM, printer, scanner other peripherals, to ensure book-to-floor compliance.

• Hardware movement between buildings/ locations for deployment, repair and dismantling.

• Audit hardware status as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Knowledge of basic PC hardware, KVM, printer, scanner, networking, IP is essential.

• Knowledge of DNS, Active Directory is a strong plus.

SHIFT HOURS

24x7 - 12 hrs shift 7AM - 7PM or 7PM - 7AM (on rotation)
