J - Senior Quantity Surveyor [Retail Fit-out]

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing project quotations for tender and submission.

To assist the Business Development Manager in all areas of quantity surveying works.

• Able to advise suitable and effective strategies, skills, and methods in tender pricing.

To monitor all variation orders (VO) that are well recorded and claimed.

• Responsible for verifying, and cost control of all suppliers, sub-contractors, workers, etc., inclusive of project claims and expenses within the budget.

Prepare pre and post-project budgets, progress claims, projected cash flow, tender documentation, and final accounts.

• Ensure every progress claim, certification, and invoice to clients is issued on a timely basis.

Monitor all contractual records with clients and suppliers to comply as always to protect the company's interest.

• Source, negotiate, and coordinate between suppliers, sub-contractors, manufacturers, and vendors.

Undertake other assigned tasks as required.

• Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

• At least 4 years of working experience in a related field.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in Retail Fit Out will be an added advantage.

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills for accurate cost estimation, comparison, and budget management.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with design teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Confident, proactive, and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Trustworthy, committed with a strong team spirit.
