About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic fresh graduates with a strong foundation in Japanese language and a passion for learning technology. This is a unique opportunity to transition from a linguistics background into the dynamic world of IT networking, where you'll gain hands-on experience in areas such as Collaboration, Enterprise Networking, Service Provider Networking, and Network Security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting and resolving network incidents for Japanese-speaking end-customers, under guidance.
- Document technical issues and resolutions clearly and concisely in both English and Japanese.
- Adhere strictly to Client and HCLTech's security, compliance, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members across different tiers (Tier 1, 2, 3) and internal stakeholders.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and customer requirements in a dynamic environment.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Near-native fluency in Japanese (written and spoken). Language certifications such as JLPT N1/N2 are a plus but not mandatory.
- Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
- High level of curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- Strong interest in building a career in IT networking field.
