Japanese Translator & Interpreter cum General Support

Job Description

(1)To understand and review the source document to understand its contents and clarify with the document owner, if required

(2)Translate documents into the target language and use all available resources to translate the contents as accurate as possible. 

(3) Translator experienced in a Sales / Technical / Quality Management

(4) Translating written documents, such as emails, reports, articles and presentations from Japanese toanother language vice versa

(5) Proof reading, editing and revising translated materials to ensure accuracy and consistency

(6) To uphold the confidentiality and privacy of the translated documents or information

(7) Using dictionaries, glossaries and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology andwords used

(8) When a request for translation/interpretation is made, to acquire and ensure important information areunderstood for accuracy

(9)Attend the meetings (offline or online) and act as interpreter to assist with the communication.

(10)To be present for interpretation during on-site during machine troubleshooting / repairing by Japanese makers.

(11)Translating spoken communication during meetings and other events in real time

Requirement

(1) Experience : 3 years and above

(2)Japanese fluency level : N1 or N2

(3) Salary : Based on salary grading

(4) Educational level : Degree and above
