About the Role

We're looking for a passionate Java API Developer to design, build, and support enterprise-grade applications.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Java, Spring frameworks, RESTful APIs, and messaging services, along with a focus on clean code, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and understand functional requirements; provide design feedback.

Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable Java-based applications.

Conduct design/code reviews and ensure adherence to standards.

Support functional, UAT, and production environments.

Perform non-functional testing and performance tuning.

Manage daily scrums and mentor junior developers.

Prepare detailed documentation for design and implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.

Minimum 4 years experience in Java/J2EE application development.

Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring MVC/Struts, JavaScript, JQuery.

Proficient in MS SQL Server and NoSQL DBs (MongoDB, Redis).

Familiar with Maven/Ant, UML, JMS/WebSphere MQ, RESTful APIs, Jenkins.

Source control experience: SVN/Git, and tools like Jira/QC.

Strong understanding of UNIX/Linux scripting and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AMQ).

Experience with WebLogic, WebSphere, JBOSS, and authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT).

Nice to Have

Prior experience in the Financial/Banking domain.

Exposure to CI/CD and Agile methodologies.
