Hiring | FICO Blaze / Java Application Developer
We are seeking an experienced FICO Blaze / Java Application Developer to join our application development team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in FICO Blaze Advisor, Java/J2EE, business rule development, application integration, deployment, and testing.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and design, develop, and maintain business rules using FICO Blaze Advisor / Business Rules Engine (BRE).
- Create and manage rules using Blaze IDE / Eclipse IDE and Rule Maintenance Application (RMA).
- Develop and maintain Decision Tables, Rule Sets, Rule Templates, Decision Trees, and other Blaze rule components.
- Perform deployment of rule services through Java EJB and Web Services.
- Manage and support ADB deployment activities.
- Develop and integrate Java/J2EE applications using Core Java, Spring, and RESTful Web Services.
- Support application deployment and orchestration using OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, deployment, and release processes.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshoot defects, and ensure quality of deliverables.
- Provide support for SIT, UAT, integration testing, and other testing activities as required.
Required Technical Skills
- FICO Blaze Advisor / BRE – 2+ years of hands-on experience.
- Java / J2EE – 7–9 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and RESTful Web Services.
- Strong experience with Blaze IDE / Eclipse IDE and RMA.
- Good understanding of Decision Tables, Rule Sets, Templates, and Decision Trees.
- Experience in rule service deployment using EJB / Web Services.
- Knowledge of ADB deployment processes.
- Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or similar container orchestration platforms.
- Hands-on exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
- Python and JavaScript – 5+ years of experience.
Deliverables
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and unit testing application/rule deliverables, supporting deployment activities, and providing technical support throughout the testing lifecycle.
