Role Overview
This is a senior Solutions Architect role focused on Java Spring microservices. You will design system architecture, collaborate with product and project teams, and provide technical leadership in a cross-functional environment. The role requires fluency in
English and Chinese to work effectively in a multicultural and remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop Java Spring microservice applications.
- Collaborate with product and project managers to manage end-to-end system architecture.
- Coordinate with multiple domain teams during project lifecycle.
- Translate business needs into scalable, aligned technical solutions.
- Perform architectural reviews, risk identification, and mitigation.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Adapt work hours to support team collaboration across different time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of software development and architecture experience.
- Strong expertise in Java Spring microservices architecture.
- Excellent cross-team communication skills, able to explain technical ideas to non-tech stakeholders.
- Fluency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in remote teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
