About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Java Architect to design, scale, and lead the development of high-performance, cloud-based systems handling large transaction volumes.

This role blends architecture leadership, hands-on Java development, and team mentorship in a modern fullstack environment.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design (40%)

Design scalable, resilient, and secure microservices

Define and enforce architecture standards & best practices

Lead system design reviews, analysis & capacity planning

Drive performance, reliability, and cost optimization

Evaluate and recommend technologies & frameworks

Technical Leadership & Mentorship (30%)

Act as technical authority for multiple development teams

Mentor developers on Java, Spring Boot & Angular

Lead proof-of-concepts and architectural spikes

Work closely with Engineering, Product & DevOps teams

Hands-On Development & Code Quality (30%)

Develop and maintain critical Java Spring Boot services

Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code

Improve performance, scalability & observability

Review REST & async APIs

Troubleshoot complex production issues

Required Experience & Skills

10+ years of software development experience

5+ years in Architect / Senior Engineer roles

Strong Java expertise (Java 11/17/21, Spring Boot, JVM tuning)

AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, SQS/SNS, EKS)

Microservices & event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

Databases: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Cassandra

Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation)

Fullstack experience with Angular (v15+)

Strong communication & problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

Real-time analytics / big data exposure

Security & compliance knowledge (GDPR, SOC2)

Experience working with distributed teams

Open-source contributions or technical writing
