JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for supporting our stores by designing all in-store marketing materials that help parents navigate our space, enjoy their shopping experience, and feel cared for.
You will work closely with the Retail Operations (SG) to ensure all visuals are aligned with our brand tone — warm, loving, friendly, and expert in parenting while being practical and effective for the retail floor.
This role is not part of the Marketing team but an integral support to our Retail Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design & Production
- Design and create all in-store marketing materials, including but not limited to:
- Promotional signage
- Directional signage
- Fixture tags
- POSM (Point of Sale Materials)
- Wayfinding and display visuals
- Adapt designs based on store fixture limitations and operational requirements.
- Ensure all in-store materials are clear, simple, easy to understand, and customer-friendly.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with the operations department manager to understand weekly promotions, store layout changes, and visual merchandising needs.
- Liaise with printing vendors and ensure timely delivery of artwork and physical materials.
- Support urgent or ad-hoc design requests with a fast turnaround time.
Brand Alignment
- Ensure that all in-store materials align with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Create designs that speak to parents and parents-to-be in a loving, expert, and approachable manner.
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Retail Visual Communication:
- Ability to design signage that enhances in-store navigation and drives customer action.
- Creative Design Execution:
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar design tools.
- Production Knowledge:
- Understanding of print specifications and materials commonly used in retail signage.
- Operational Adaptability:
- Comfortable working within store fixture and layout constraints.
- Multi-Project Management:
- Ability to juggle multiple design requests with competing deadlines.
- Brand Consistency:
- Skilled at creating visually appealing designs that consistently reflect brand identity.
- Basic Visual Merchandising Understanding:
- Awareness of how signage supports product placement and customer flow in stores.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in retail design, visual merchandising, or in-store marketing preferred.
- Experience working with regional teams is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with remote teams.
- Fast, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a can-do mindset.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Willing to travel (including outstation & SG travel when necessary)
- Able to work on weekends or public holidays if required to participate in events
