Get to know the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Account & Audit Associate/Account & Audit Intern to join our dynamic team at Hata. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to Hata's financial and operational excellence. You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day accounting operations and supporting audit and compliance processes. Success in this role requires a strong analytical mindset, adaptability, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

The day-to-day activities:

Accounting & Audit Operations:

  • Accurately record accounting transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring timely data entry.
  • Prepare and maintain management accounts, ensuring data accuracy and organization.
  • Reconcile digital wallets, bank accounts, and other financial records to maintain accuracy and accountability.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.

Audit Support:

  • Assist in audit processes, including documentation preparation Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze financial data for audit and reporting purposes.

The Must-Have:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior internship experience in finance operations or accounting is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with digital assets, cryptocurrencies, or fintech is a plus.
