Job Summary :-
The Junior Accountant cum Admin Executive is responsible for supporting both accounting and administrative functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role involves handling financial transactions, documentation, and office coordination, as well as providing general support to the management and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities :-
Accounting Responsibilities :
- Handle daily accounting operations, including data entry and bank reconciliation.
- Maintain proper bookkeeping and ensure all transactions are recorded with supporting documents.
- Maintain proper filing of hardcopy and softcopy documents for audit and compliance purposes. Organise, label, and archive documents for easy retrieval.
- Prepare vouchers for all cash and bank transactions.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
System Implementation (Future) :
- Support transition from manual accounting to system-based recording.
- Prepare financial data for migration.
- From January 2026, assist with e-invoicing implementation and compliance with LHDN requirements.
Administrative Responsibilities :
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the team.
- Assist in day-to-day office operations, coordination, and MIS preparation.
- Liaise with internal teams and external parties.
- Support HR and finance with basic admin tasks when required.
- Manage general office administration such as office supplies, correspondence, and maintenance.
- Organize meetings, company events, and travel arrangements when necessary.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and visitors professionally.
Requirements :
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 6 12 months of administrative experience.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount, QuickBooks, or equivalent) will be an additional advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to converse in Mandarin, Bahasa, and English.
