Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record supplier invoices accurately into the accounting system.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors and manage payment schedules.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor master data and AP-related codes in the accounting system.
- Prepare and issue sales invoices to clients.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile accounts receivable aging reports with the general ledger.
- Collaborate with sales and billing departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Perform monthly journal postings, including accruals and adjustments.
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet schedules (e.g., fixed assets, prepayments).
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations and issue debit notes as necessary.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of all tax returns across the Group.
- Prepare schedules and supporting documents for tax filings and audits.
- Liaise with tax agents and auditors to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Monitor daily cash balances and assist in cash flow forecasting.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in managing payment processes and liaising with financial institutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 02 years of relevant working experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- A strong communicator, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
