Position Title : Junior Business Analyst/ Project Coordination
Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Role Duration: 12 months (extendable)
Role Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to support business and technology teams in gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and assisting in the delivery of business solutions. The role will work closely with stakeholders, project teams, and developers to ensure business needs are accurately translated into functional requirements and project deliverables.
This position is suitable for candidates with strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and an interest in business processes, systems, and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Requirement Analysis
•
Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
•
Assist in translating business requirements into user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
•
Support gap analysis and process improvement initiatives.
•
Participate in requirement clarification sessions and workshops.
Stakeholder Coordination
•
Work closely with business users, project managers, developers, and QA teams to support project delivery.
•
Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
•
Provide regular updates on requirement progress and issue tracking.
Documentation & Process Support
•
Prepare and maintain:
o
Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
o
Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
o
User stories
o
Process flow diagrams
o
Meeting minutes
•
Ensure documentation is accurate and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

Testing & Implementation Support
•
Support system testing activities including:
o
SIT
o
UAT
o
defect tracking
•
Assist users during testing and implementation phases.
•
Validate delivered solutions against business requirements.
Reporting & Analysis
•
Perform data analysis and prepare reports where required.
•
Support business decision-making with insights and findings.
•
Track project issues, risks, and action items.
Requirements
Education
•
Bachelor's Degree in:
o
Business Administration
o
Information Technology
o
Computer Science
o
Finance
o
Engineering
o
or related disciplines
Experience
•
0–3 years of working experience in Business Analysis, Project Coordination, IT, or related fields.
•
Fresh graduates with strong analytical and communication skills are encouraged to apply.
•
Experience in banking, insurance, technology, or consulting environment is an added advantage.
Technical Skills
•
Basic understanding of:

Business analysis methodology

SDLC / Agile delivery

Requirement gathering techniques
o
Process mapping

Familiarity with tools such as:

Microsoft Excel

PowerPoint
