Job Description

Summary

The Junior Customer Program Manager is responsible for the commercial success and operational delivery of assigned accounts. Leading a multi-functional Customer Focus Team (CFT), you will serve as the primary bridge between the client and the internal organization, ensuring all products and services meet client expectations while maintaining financial health.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account & Commercial Management

  • Profitability: Own the financial performance of the program, ensuring revenue targets are met and costs are controlled according to quotes and contracts.
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to the Statement of Work (SOW) and document any additional agreements outside the original contract.
  • Financial Control: Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) troubleshooting, approve standard cost changes, update sales prices, and claim raw material premiums or Purchase Price Variance (PPV) when applicable.
  • Risk Mitigation: Manage scope creep to protect margins, minimize financial risks, and identify opportunities for benefit realization.

2. Project Coordination & Operations

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, and Production activities to align with customer requests.
  • Lifecycle Monitoring: Track all project phases through detailed reporting and provide regular status updates to the client.
  • Change Management: Oversee Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to ensure timely implementation and recover Excess & Obsolete (E&O) costs from customers.
  • Launch Readiness: Ensure all technical documentation is secured for successful new product launches or modifications.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Primary Liaison: Act as the central point of contact for all project communication, inquiries, and complaints.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct weekly, monthly, or quarterly business reviews to report on deliveries, commitments, and account progress.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with clients to implement cost-reduction and localization programs to improve competitiveness.

4. Leadership & Team Management

  • Team Supervision: Direct the daily activities of the Program and Planning teams.
  • Performance Standards: Align the CFT to meet specific customer targets regarding quality, testing, materials, and processes.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 810 years of professional experience, specifically in program management or a related environment, 23 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong business acumen with the ability to forecast revenue and interpret financial, supply chain, and technical reports.
  • Proficiency in SAP is preferred.
  • High numerical literacy and logical thinking skills.
