Junior Data Integration & ETL Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining ETL jobs using IBM Datastage.
• Write and modify SQL queries and basic stored procedures in MS SQL Server.
• Support data automation tasks using Linux shell scripting.
• Use MS SQL utilities (BCP) for data loading under guidance.
• Monitor daily batch runs and raise/escalate issues as needed.
• Contribute to documentation updates in Confluence.
• Use GitHub for code versioning and peer collaboration.
• Track tasks, issues, and tickets through Jira and ServiceNow.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in SQL and basic MS SQL Server development.
• Working knowledge of Linux shell scripting.
• Exposure to IBM Datastage or similar ETL tools.
• Familiarity with SQL utilities such as BCP.
• Experience using tools like GitHub, Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
• Willingness to learn, troubleshoot, and grow into more advanced ETL responsibilities.
