Junior Developer

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Junior BI Developer with a strong interest in Power BI and business analytics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, learning modern BI practices, and supporting the delivery of insights that help the business make better decisions. You will work closely with senior BI and data professionals to build reports, dashboards, and datasets in Power BI, while developing your skills in data modelling, stakeholder engagement, and analytics best practices

This position will be based in Bangsar South.

You will be responsible for:

• Design and develop data models
• Create visualizations and reports using Power BI
• Perform performance tuning and optimization
• Integrate various data sources into a cohesive data solution
• Maintain detailed documentation of the data models and reports
• Collaborate with other members of the BI team

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics) or equivalent practical experience
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience with Power BI, particularly in report and dashboard development; exposure to database‑related work is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
• Experience creating data visualizations and reports using Power BI
• Familiarity with data integration and data migration processes
• Foundational understanding of data modelling concepts
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and basic data manipulation
• Strong curiosity, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies
