We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Human Resource Junior Executive to manage the full spectrum of HR functions, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, support payroll and employee administration, and uphold company policies related to HSE and ISO standards.
Principal Roles & Responsibilities
Human Resource Functions
- Perform the full spectrum of HR activities including personnel administration, proper records management, and employee lifecycle processes (confirmation, promotion, transfer, resignation, termination).
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, statutory regulations, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Prepare and process payroll accurately and timely using the payroll system.
- Prepare and process statutory payments and upload required documents to government portals in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Handle staffing requisitions, understand departmental manpower requirements, and coordinate HR-related issues with all departments.
- Draft, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and HR-related documentation.
- Prepare employment-related letters including employment contracts, confirmation letters, resignation acceptance letters, termination letters, increment letters, and bonus letters.
- Maintain employee leave records, medical claims, attendance, and monitor absenteeism; provide regular reports to the HR Manager.
- Prepare and process immigration documentation and permit renewals for expatriates through the relevant online portals.
- Manage HRDF submissions, claim, and maintain accurate records for all related transactions.
- Handle all confidential matters with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
HSE Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned duties safely in compliance with company safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain awareness of company HSE policies and requirements.
- Report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, safety incidents, and near misses promptly.
- Participate in all safety and health training programs organized by the company.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- At least 12 years of relevant working experience as an HR Generalist.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- High level of maturity, integrity, discipline, and reliability.
- Resourceful, tactful, and professional in handling employee matters.
- Pleasant personality with good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Creative and proactive in handling employee issues and daily HR operations.
- Good command of spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Hands-on experience in payroll processing is required.
