Job Description

Position Title: Junior HR & Admin

Department: Human Resource

Location: Cyberjaya

Reports To: HR & Admin Manager

Overview

The Junior HR & Admin is responsible to support day‑to‑day HR operations and office administration for TCR Group Shared Services. The role focuses on accurate payroll preparation, efficient recruitment and onboarding coordination, HRIS and employee lifecycle administration, and smooth administrative support. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, discreet with personal data, and proactive in driving operational excellence.

A Snapshot Of What You Will Be Doing Here

Payroll Administration

  • Compile payroll inputs (e.g. new joiner, leavers, leave record, overtime, shift, allowances, deductions) and perform accurate data entry.
  • Execute end‑to‑end monthly payroll processing (data validation, calculations, statutory deductions, bank file upload) while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Prepare monthly payroll reports and support year‑end processes as required.
  • Ensure payroll is compliance with Malaysian HR regulations (Employment Act 1955, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp).

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Supporting recruitment process by posting job advertisement, conducting initial candidate screening, scheduling interviews and coordinate pre-employment requirement (e.g. medical check).
  • Work closely with hiring manager to ensure successful recruitment.
  • Preparing offer letters and coordinate onboarding (e.g. HRIS and payroll data entry, raising IT tickets for workstation setup and system access, induction pack).

Employee Lifecycle Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and payroll system and processing changes (transfers, salary adjustments, promotions) timely and accurately.
  • Coordinate offboarding process (e.g. collect company properties, process final payroll inputs, update HRIS/payroll, and prepare exit documents).

General HR and Office Administration

  • Support employee engagement events, townhalls, and training.
  • Monitor office supplies (pantry, stationery), vendor coordination, and maintain office facilities and permits (e.g. season parking, business license renewals).
  • Manage travel arrangements (flight and hotel bookings) in line with company policy.
  • Be part as a Safety Committee member and ensure safety plan executed properly.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the HR & Admin Manager or Management.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Admin, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or administrative role. Fresh graduates are welcome too.
  • Basic exposure to payroll processing experience is preferred.
  • At least basic knowledge of Malaysian HR regulations (Employment Act 1955, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp).
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable working with system.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and service mindset.
  • Proactive, ownership mindset with problem‑solving ability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
