Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage job automation workflows using Control-M.
- Maintain and update the CMDB to ensure accurate infrastructure configuration data.
- Design and automate scripts using Python and Shell for reporting and job execution.
- Monitor system performance to identify aging/obsolete components.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate CMDB data into dashboards and monitoring tools.
- Support root cause analysis for Control-M job failures and CMDB anomalies.
- Document automation processes and technical configurations for audits and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in continuous improvement efforts related to legacy system modernization.
Skills & Qualifications:
Mandatory Technical Skills
- 35 years experience in IT automation or infrastructure support.
- Hands-on experience with Control-M job automation.
- Strong knowledge of CMDB operations and integration.
- Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
Other Preferred Skills
- Experience with reporting dashboards and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of tech obsolescence and modernization initiatives.
- Strong documentation and collaboration skills.
