Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Seremban for a Junior Project Manager focused on the ERP Epicor System. The role involves assisting in planning, coordinating, and monitoring ERP implementation and improvement projects, including scheduling tasks, tracking milestones, and preparing status reports. The Junior PM will support expediting activities by following up on pending actions, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and helping resolve delays that impact project timelines. Daily responsibilities include working with operations, logistics, and inspection teams to ensure data accuracy in Epicor, aligning system processes with business needs, and escalating issues to senior project managers when necessary. The role also includes documenting requirements, supporting user training, and helping maintain standard operating procedures related to the ERP system.
Qualifications
- Experience or foundational knowledge in Project Management, including task coordination, timeline tracking, and stakeholder communication.
- Skills in Expediting and working as an Expeditor, with the ability to follow up on orders, actions, and deliverables to keep projects on schedule.
- Exposure to Logistics Management, including coordinating materials flow, understanding supply chain impacts, and aligning system data with physical movements.
- Basic understanding of Inspection processes, quality checks, and documentation to ensure accurate information is captured in the ERP system.
- Ability to work with ERP systems (Epicor experience preferred) and strong aptitude for learning new software tools and workflows.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments in an on-site environment.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, or related field is an advantage; entry-level candidates with relevant internships are welcome.
- Willingness to work on-site in Seremban and support operational teams in a fast-paced, project-driven setting.
