Junior QA Software Test Engineer

Description

We are seeking a Junior QA Software Test Engineer to join our growing team in Southeast Asia. This position is ideal for candidates with 0-3 years of experience in software testing who are eager to contribute to ensuring the quality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute manual and automated testing to identify software defects.
• Document and report issues found during testing, including steps to reproduce.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on the software development process.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and contribute to team discussions on quality assurance best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and processes.
• Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG is a plus.
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
