Job Title: Junior QA Test Engineer

Location: GLOMAC Damansara, TTDI (Walking distance from MRT TTDI Station)

Type: Full-time, Onsite

Working Hours: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our QA team in ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our eProcurement platform.

This position focuses primarily on manual testing across our Source-to-Pay modules and workflows within our eProcurement platform. Over time, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience with automation testing using Playwright (JavaScript) as part of their career development.

You'll be part of an Agile team, working closely with senior QAs, developers, and product teammates to support high-quality releases and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and maintain test cases and test plans based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
  2. Execute manual functional, regression, and integration testing across eProcurement Source-to-Pay modules.
  3. Identify, log, and track defects in Jira; ensuring timely retesting and verification of fixes.
  4. Contribute to QA documentation and cross-team knowledge sharing.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, Products and QAs) to identify recurring issues and recommend processes improvements.
  6. Learn and gradually support in automation testing using Playwright (JavaScript) under Senior QA guidance.

Requirements
  1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. 0-1 year of experience in software testing. Fresh graduates with relevant internships are strongly encouraged to apply.
  3. Familiar with SDLC, Agile practices, and test management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Xray.
  4. Basic understanding or academic exposure to JavaScript is a plus.
  5. Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
  6. Excellent teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills, with a passionate and proactive eagerness to learn.
  7. Candidates with ISTQB Foundation Level Certification is an added advantage.
