Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic Junior Sales & Events Executive for a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This role focuses on driving sales growth while planning and executing memorable, on-brand events for myBurgerLab. You will manage client and partner engagement, identify opportunities for sales, partnerships, and events, prepare marketing materials, and support seamless event execution. Close collaboration with internal teams is key to meeting sales targets and enhancing the overall myBurgerLab experience.

Responsibilities & Duties

Sales & Business Development

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including corporate clients, bulk orders, partnerships, and delivery platforms (e.g. GrabFood, Foodpanda), to meet revenue targets. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, analyze sales performance data, and optimize menus, pricing, and promotions to drive growth.

Event Planning & Execution

Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events such as product launches, pop-ups, and brand collaborations. Manage end-to-end event logistics including vendors, timelines, budgets, and on-site operations, ensuring exceptional brand experiences and conducting post-event evaluations.

Marketing, Promotion & Representation

Collaborate with the marketing team on sales collateral, event promotions, and campaigns, and represent myBurgerLab at industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with Operations, Finance, and HR/Training to ensure smooth event execution, order fulfillment, budgeting, invoicing, and staff readiness. Maintain accurate sales and event records and prepare performance reports for management.

Key Requirements

  • 12 years experience in sales, events, or F&B/hospitality (delivery platform experience is a plus).
  • Strong sales, negotiation, event management, and organizational skills, with the ability to meet targets and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • An analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; CRM experience preferred.
  • Energetic, outgoing, and passionate about creating memorable customer experiences.
  • Own transport and willingness to travel for events and client meetings.
