Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. The role involves executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze business requirements and technical specification
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenario
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Prepare test reports and provide status updates on testing progress
- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in manual testing, fresh graduate is encouraged to apply
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies
- Experience in writing clear test cases and executing test plans
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing is an advantage
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
